Faultless service from the first phonecall to the last email. Georgina was brilliant, organised, thorough, caring and considerate, and great attention to detail. She provided some thoughtful, observant and creative input into the funeral and I had complete trust in her abilities. Sara was brilliant on the day and after. My Aunt would have approved whole heartedly.

I cannot thank Harpins enough for the way they have dealt with every aspect of my grandma’s passing. Jane has been so helpful, prompt, supportive and understanding. She has made the whole process so much easier, even giving us access to the chapel of rest on the same day the paperwork was given to them, including collecting grandma from the hospital. My Grandma wanted a direct cremation, we are so thankful we went directly to them instead of a ‘pure cremation’ type company. They really care about your loved ones and you. Thank you so much!

It’s been months since my dad’s funeral, and I’ve only just been able to sit down and write this review — but I knew I needed to. Losing my dad was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through. My whole family was heartbroken, but we knew we had to do what we could to give my dad the best send-off possible.

We knew straight away that we wanted to go with Harpins, especially because one of their homes is in Outwood, a place that held so much meaning for my dad. He grew up there, had so many wonderful memories, and it felt so right to have everything connected to that special place.

From the very beginning, Georgina was absolutely incredible. Wow — where do I even start? Thank you so much for all of your support, kindness, and care. You truly are amazing. Your calm and compassionate presence made such a difference to us all, and your professionalism and attention to detail were impeccable.

Harpins, from start to finish, you were outstanding. You made an unbearably painful time just that little bit easier, and we will always be so grateful for that.

A special thank you also to Rev. Jacob and the team at Parkside Methodist Church. The service was so personal and heartfelt — it couldn’t have been more perfect. Your kind words throughout made such a difference and truly honoured my dad’s memory.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for helping us give my dad the beautiful, dignified farewell he so deserved. You gave us peace and comfort during the hardest time of our lives, and we will never forget that.

Used Harpins for my Fathers funeral and didn’t think twice when my Mum passed away. Both times Sean attended my parents home to discuss the arrangements, super friendly and informative, when speaking to any of the members of staff on the phone regarding orders of service etc I felt I received the same level of professionalism from them all. Jenny was lead for my mother's funeral. She talked us through the process, was ways available to answer queries quickly. Jenny collaborated with the vicar, caterers, crematorium and kept us in the loop all through the process. Jenny and Harpins made the funeral service and crematorium run smoothly and sensitively and helped us with making choices to produce an individual funeral plan. Thanks a lot Jenny and Harpins.

Everyone we had contact with was very helpful and professional from Georgina who took the initial call, Sean who we met with to discuss arrangements and who was there on the day of the funeral and Polly the celebrant who led the service at the crematorium. All arrangements went as planned and whole process was made as straightforward as we could have hoped for.
